Isn’t it strange how the word “friend” conjures closer ties than words like relative, sibling, or even spouse? Yet it is even a double blessing when one’s friend happens to also be a husband, wife or family member.

Communication in friendship is very important. It determines the kind of relationship there is. Without communication, there is no friendship and this is best known to people who are in friendship relationships.
Why is it important to have honesty in a friendship?
There is not one person who would want a friend that is not honest with them. In order to make up a good friendship or any relationship honesty; loyalty and good communication skills (able to discuss problems in their friendship or talk about almost anything with ease) is a must. Without these three things there is no true friendship. You want to be sure you can trust the person you are friends with and that they can keep secrets you choose to share with them and if not, then friends who do not have honesty or loyalty will become backstabbers or tell secrets to others.
Why are friends important in life?
Friends make your life interesting and wonderful. Of course friends argue and have fights that happen to everyone. That is how friendship is tested during these times of arguments and fights. Most people have numerous acquaintances and may mistakenly believe they are friends. Friends or acquaintances may make following your own efforts to resolve your own problems less difficult, but in the end it is up to you.

When you spend time with friends, you’re not just getting updated on the television shows you’ve missed or enjoying the chance to brag about your grandchildren. Sharing your life with companions could very well be saving your life.
